Hey Fans, Friends, and Fellows,
I only got 4,286 words written this week. Still that’s 4,286 more words than I had last week! Time to celebrate with a living room dance party and then get back to writing. If you’re trying to keep yourself accountable for your own writing check how much you’ve written this week. Anything above zero it progress. If looking at that number isn’t satisfying use it to motivate yourself. I’m also welcoming writers to join my group Page Positivity on Facebook.

Scott Magill is many things. A writer, an artist, a cat owner, a boot enthusiast, an excellent gift-giver, and a very angry homosexual to name a few. If he's not working on his LGBTQIA themed stories or art, he's probably trying to form a polycule that is sexy, emotionally fulfilling, and lucrative all at once. The quickest way to his heart is to buy him books, buy his books, review his books, or talk to him about books.

“Still that’s 4,286 more words than I had last week!”
That’s exactly how I think and I feel like that’s the best way to find the strength to keep on keeping on, lol.
I myself stick to a 250-a-day schedule, which I often surpass for about 500 words or so. But during the streaks when I can only manage 250, I tell myself, that’s 1,750 more than last week, and any step forward is still better than staying still.
Wishing you the best with your WIP!
That is awesome! I like the idea of 250-a-day. It is a low enough number that even on the worst writing days it doesn’t seem that bad. Thank you for the comment and the support. I’m sending good vibes for your writing too!
