Hey Fans, Friends, and Fellows,
*SPOILERS* Also, I’m swearing a bunch so skip this paragraph if it bothers you. I watched The Craft: Legacy tonight, and I was surprised by how much I didn’t like it. I liked the system of magic in it, but so many other things bothered me. My least favorite part was the killing bisexual character. I’m so very tired of the “killing the LGBTQIA character” trope. It’s still so common. Like there was a lot of lazy storytelling in this movie but killing the bi character so that someone could get a message from the beyond is so fucking lazy.
Writing Prompts: Write a scene that involves an LGBTQIA character without dipping into a cliche or trope to represent them.
