Caturday 7/3/2021

Hey Fans, Friends, and Fellows,

It that time of the year when we get a lot of thunderstorms in Central Florida. I discovered a funny difference in our cats’ reactions to these storms. Columbia would come to get me and meow until I followed her back to the closet. When I left because I had to get back to work, she came to get me again. It felt like she was saying, “No human safety is this way! How will you feed me if you die!” I felt bad about stressing her out, but it was actually really cute to see her trying to save me. On the other hand, Binx woke up from his nap to a very loud crack of thunder; I heard him cry and come running. Once he got to me, he planted himself firmly on the floor next to me. Their reactions were so cute I had to share them. I thought it was pretty interesting that they had inversed reactions. One thinks they have to save the silly human, and the other thinks the human is here, so it must be the safest place. I didn’t have the presence of mind to record either of their reactions at the moment, sadly. I did get a picture of Binx investigating the bookshelves now that I’m finally making more progress on them.

He is a very good void.
